Job Title: Finance Controller / Deputy Finance Controller
Location: Central Africa
Industry: Real Estate | Infrastructure | Solar | Construction | Airport | EPC
Experience: Minimum 10 years
Qualification: CA / CMA / ICWA
Key Responsibilities
-
Oversee all finance and accounting operations for projects across multiple business units.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis of results.

Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures for infrastructure and EPC projects.

Manage cash flow, fund utilization, and working capital across ongoing and upcoming projects.

Review and strengthen internal financial controls, accounting systems, and processes.
-
Lead statutory audits, tax compliance (direct & indirect), and adherence to international accounting standards.

Evaluate project profitability, risk assessment, and capital expenditure plans.

Coordinate with project, procurement, and operations teams for financial decision-making and cost optimization.

Manage relationships with banks, auditors, vendors, and financial institutions.

Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and support business expansion plans in Africa.
Required Skills & Competencies
-
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/IAS) and financial controls.
-
Experience managing finance in infrastructure, EPC, construction, or solar projects.
-
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and project-based accounting.
-
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
-
Ability to work in multicultural and cross-border environments.
-
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
