Job Description

• Candidate must have experience in mining industry or mining related degree
• Candidate with mining engineering background having good experience in corporate finance, banking, Fund raising and Merger & Acquisition for mining industry.
• Should have exposure in banking and fund raising (preferred experience in fund raising specifically for mining industry)
• Able to talk and meet with bankers and funders and explain the group objectives and segment wise funding requirements and situation.
• Able to monitor on actual and expectation with the finance institution.
• Will work on project funding and until the project is completed, or any improvement task, he will lead that team to ensure funds are availed on time and used as per plan and project financial impact.
• This team member activities will be to raise funds and monitor until full implementation of projects and funding as required
• Will be a contact person for banking relation and other institution / traders coming to Africa and meet them on behalf of the Chairman and Canada office
• Exposure to preparing investment materials and various financial models with analytical skills.
• Responsible for coordinating financial planning, analysis and reporting related to all Group Banking and Financial Activities.
• Specific job duties for VPs of corporate finance include developing financial operating reports, such as annual plans, quarterly forecasts, periodic reviews and updates
• Prepare or review financial analysis as requested by senior management, market leaders, Portfolio Management, Treasury or Blackstone related to acquisitions, dispositions, major leases, developments, debt financings and joint ventures.
• Prepare or review portfolio trend and variance analysis related to gross leasing, market rates, net operating income and other relevant metrics.
• Advising about how to meet targets and create investment capital, generating finance from different sources, gathering, analyzing and interpreting complicated numerical information
