Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced VP Mining to direct and guide mining activities in our company's portfolio. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in international mining operations, a strong background in mine development, and a proven track record of achieving targets and deadlines while ensuring safe and economically viable mining practices.

 Key Responsibilities:

- Lead mining operations and projects from development to delivery

- Ensure safe and economically viable mining practices

- Develop and implement mine plans and strategies

- Manage and maintain excellent operations and standards

- Direct and guide mining teams

- Assist in developing plans for progress and growth

- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness

- Contribute to training and development of the team

- Advise on mid to long-term mine planning and optimization of operations

- Lead feasibility studies and assess site viability

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and community standards

Requirements:

- Proven experience in mining operations and management

- Strong knowledge of mining regulations, codes, and standards

- Excellent project management and leadership skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

- Full driving license
