Dy Manager / Manager – Process (SX/EW) - Central Africa

 

Hiring for *Manager – Process* for a leading *mining and mineral processing* based in *Central Africa*

Experience: 06+ years

Education: BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech – Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy / Mineral processing

·         Analysing the metallurgical performance of the plant / process plant

·         Strong understanding of Leaching kinetics (acid consumption, recovery), SX parameters (O/A ratio, phase separation, crud formation) and EW parameters (current density, voltage, cathode quality)

·         EW parameters (current density, voltage, cathode quality)

·         Establish monthly metal balance accuracy

·         Improve metal recovery to maximum achievable limits

·         Assist in maintaining and developing standard operating procedures and work instructions

·         Optimization of reagents

·         Continuous Improvement (Reduction in acid consumption, increased Plant throughout and Energy optimization in EW)

·         Stable plant throughout at or above design capacity

·         Consistent cathode quality (LME Grade A)

·         Maintain high process stability with minimal deviations

·         Reduction of chemical consumption by 5-10%

·         Ensure 100%compliance with safety procedures and PPE usage

·         Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

·         Strong knowledge on SAP-PP module

·         Follow up with service departments for the jobs
